Consider all the leaves of a binary tree. From left to right order, the values of those leaves form a leaf value sequence.

img

For example, in the given tree above, the leaf value sequence is (6, 7, 4, 9, 8).

Two binary trees are considered leaf-similar if their leaf value sequence is the same.

Return true if and only if the two given trees with head nodes root1 and root2 are leaf-similar.

Note:

  • Both of the given trees will have between 1 and 100 nodes.

Given a non-empty, singly linked list with head node head, return a middle node of linked list.

If there are two middle nodes, return the second middle node.

Example 1:

1
2
3
4
5
Input: [1,2,3,4,5]
Output: Node 3 from this list (Serialization: [3,4,5])
The returned node has value 3. (The judge's serialization of this node is [3,4,5]).
Note that we returned a ListNode object ans, such that:
ans.val = 3, ans.next.val = 4, ans.next.next.val = 5, and ans.next.next.next = NULL.

Example 2:

1
2
3
Input: [1,2,3,4,5,6]
Output: Node 4 from this list (Serialization: [4,5,6])
Since the list has two middle nodes with values 3 and 4, we return the second one.

Note:

  • The number of nodes in the given list will be between 1 and 100.

Given a positive integer N, find and return the longest distance between two consecutive 1’s in the binary representation of N.

If there aren’t two consecutive 1’s, return 0.

Example 1:

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
Input: 22
Output: 2
Explanation:
22 in binary is 0b10110.
In the binary representation of 22, there are three ones, and two consecutive pairs of 1's.
The first consecutive pair of 1's have distance 2.
The second consecutive pair of 1's have distance 1.
The answer is the largest of these two distances, which is 2.

Example 2:

1
2
3
4
Input: 5
Output: 2
Explanation:
5 in binary is 0b101.

Example 3:

1
2
3
4
Input: 6
Output: 1
Explanation:
6 in binary is 0b110.

Example 4:

1
2
3
4
5
Input: 8
Output: 0
Explanation:
8 in binary is 0b1000.
There aren't any consecutive pairs of 1's in the binary representation of 8, so we return 0.

Note:

  • 1 <= N <= 10^9

Alex and Lee play a game with piles of stones. There are an even number of piles arranged in a row, and each pile has a positive integer number of stones piles[i].

The objective of the game is to end with the most stones. The total number of stones is odd, so there are no ties.

Alex and Lee take turns, with Alex starting first. Each turn, a player takes the entire pile of stones from either the beginning or the end of the row. This continues until there are no more piles left, at which point the person with the most stones wins.

Assuming Alex and Lee play optimally, return True if and only if Alex wins the game.

Example 1:

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
Input: [5,3,4,5]
Output: true
Explanation:
Alex starts first, and can only take the first 5 or the last 5.
Say he takes the first 5, so that the row becomes [3, 4, 5].
If Lee takes 3, then the board is [4, 5], and Alex takes 5 to win with 10 points.
If Lee takes the last 5, then the board is [3, 4], and Alex takes 4 to win with 9 points.
This demonstrated that taking the first 5 was a winning move for Alex, so we return true.

Note:

  1. 2 <= piles.length <= 500
  2. piles.length is even.
  3. 1 <= piles[i] <= 500
  4. sum(piles) is odd.

Given two sorted integer arrays nums1 and nums2, merge nums2 into nums1 as one sorted array.

Note:
You may assume that nums1 has enough space (size that is greater or equal to m + n) to hold additional elements from nums2. The number of elements initialized in nums1 and nums2 are m and n respectively.

We are given two sentences A and B. (A sentence is a string of space separated words. Each word consists only of lowercase letters.)

A word is uncommon if it appears exactly once in one of the sentences, and does not appear in the other sentence.

Return a list of all uncommon words.

You may return the list in any order.

Example 1:

1
2
Input: A = "this apple is sweet", B = "this apple is sour"
Output: ["sweet","sour"]

Example 2:

1
2
Input: A = "apple apple", B = "banana"
Output: ["banana"]

Note:

  1. 0 <= A.length <= 200
  2. 0 <= B.length <= 200
  3. A and B both contain only spaces and lowercase letters.

Return any binary tree that matches the given preorder and postorder traversals.

Values in the traversals pre and post are distinct positive integers.

Example 1:

1
2
Input: pre = [1,2,4,5,3,6,7], post = [4,5,2,6,7,3,1]
Output: [1,2,3,4,5,6,7]

Note:

  • 1 <= pre.length == post.length <= 30
  • pre[] and post[] are both permutations of 1, 2, ..., pre.length.
  • It is guaranteed an answer exists. If there exists multiple answers, you can return any of them.

On a N * N grid, we place some 1 * 1 * 1cubes that are axis-aligned with the x, y, and z axes.

Each value v = grid[i][j] represents a tower of v cubes placed on top of grid cell (i, j).

Now we view the projection of these cubes onto the xy, yz, and zx planes.

A projection is like a shadow, that maps our 3 dimensional figure to a 2 dimensional plane.

Here, we are viewing the “shadow” when looking at the cubes from the top, the front, and the side.

Return the total area of all three projections.

Example 1:

1
2
Input: [[2]]
Output: 5

Example 2:

1
2
3
4
Input: [[1,2],[3,4]]
Output: 17
Explanation:
Here are the three projections ("shadows") of the shape made with each axis-aligned plane.

Example 3:

1
2
Input: [[1,0],[0,2]]
Output: 8

Example 4:

1
2
Input: [[1,1,1],[1,0,1],[1,1,1]]
Output: 14

Example 5:

1
2
Input: [[2,2,2],[2,1,2],[2,2,2]]
Output: 21

Note:

  • 1 <= grid.length = grid[0].length <= 50
  • 0 <= grid[i][j] <= 50

You have a list of words and a pattern, and you want to know which words in words matches the pattern.

A word matches the pattern if there exists a permutation of letters p so that after replacing every letter x in the pattern with p(x), we get the desired word.

(Recall that a permutation of letters is a bijection from letters to letters: every letter maps to another letter, and no two letters map to the same letter.)

Return a list of the words in words that match the given pattern.

You may return the answer in any order.

Example 1:

1
2
3
4
5
Input: words = ["abc","deq","mee","aqq","dkd","ccc"], pattern = "abb"
Output: ["mee","aqq"]
Explanation: "mee" matches the pattern because there is a permutation {a -> m, b -> e, ...}.
"ccc" does not match the pattern because {a -> c, b -> c, ...} is not a permutation,
since a and b map to the same letter.

Note:

  • 1 <= words.length <= 50
  • 1 <= pattern.length = words[i].length <= 20

The gray code is a binary numeral system where two successive values differ in only one bit.

Given a non-negative integer n representing the total number of bits in the code, print the sequence of gray code. A gray code sequence must begin with 0.

For example, given n = 2, return [0,1,3,2]. Its gray code sequence is:

1

3
4
00 - 0
